Banner Night 2011
After a long time the Boston Bruins have risen from the basement of the Boston sports scene, that is except for just a few Bruin Die-Hard fans. The fact is those true fans will now have to fight the bandwagon fansthat will be driving up the prices on ticket websites and winning always drives up the
face value price of the initial ticket price. Which at one point in my freshman year at college a few of my buddies and myself, hopped on the commuter rail from Fitchburg to North Station for around $14 not a bad price tag and were able to get tickets to the student night game for $25 for balcony tickets. I must say you have to take the good with the bad in the case of rooting for a team. You've just need to realize that your going to have to take the good with the bad when it comes to winning and a successful team. I don't mind paying a ticket increase when the team is coming of a championship season. I expect that it would be bad business if that corporation didn't do that. That would be like Apple selling the new Iphone for less money than the old one just for the fact that in the year prior it was the best phone. When your product is at demand, make your profit. When it comes to the Red Sox, I expect a bump in ticket prices once again seeing that this will be the 100 year anniversary of Fenway Park, the ticket prices will go up and a brick that cost .67 cents will be engraved with a few dumbasses that will get a replica brick in a case, the cost you ask a 4x8 brick go for a reasonable $250 while an 8x8 goes for $475. You save a whole $25 for spending and extra $225 for 4 more inches. What a Deal! I bet a lot for of guys are buying the bricks then thinking they can get a solid 4 more inches.
They need to get serious over at the friendly confines on Yawkey Way. Before this gets even more out of hand than it already is.
It kills me who they selected for this Bricks program, Tim Wakefield (done), Johnny Pesky (dead), Terry Francona (Gone), a Fat Groundskeeper....what's next a burial site in Left Field where their is already a ghost of Carl Crawford that supposedly is still rooming out there, with the rest of the spooky world
