Fall Classic 2011

Texas Rangers
vs.
St. Louis Cardinals

Rangers taste victory at home after falling to "Giants" of last years fall classic. This would be an even greater feat that they not only won the world series after losing in the prior year, but that they were able to do it after the loss of their ace Cliff Lee to the Philadelphia Phillies in the off season in free agency. Acquisitions of Mike Napoli from Toronto (who received him in the Vernon Wells deal from Anaheim) which the Jays got Frank Francisco in return.  Napoli has done nothing to disappoint the Rangers hitting .32o, 30 HRs, 75 RBIs, 369 ABs, while handling the young texas staff. Adrian Beltre in free-agency after another monster "Contract-Career Year" in Boston, landed softly in Arlington continuing to rake at .296 clip with 32 Dingers and 105 RBIs.

Rangers have too many threats in this line-up to be held down by a lackluster pitching staff after Carpenter in games one and four.

Predictions for the Series:

Rangers win at home in Arlington
in 5 Games

World Series
Most Valuable Player
7 Hits, 3 Home Runs, 8 RBI's, 5 Runs Scored
